“Winter has always been a time of hibernation and experimentation in my studio. Working primarily in oils, I like to step outside of my comfort zone and explore options to add to what I am comfortable with. The challenge is exhilarating. This past winter, I dabbled with cold wax for both acrylic and oil, the texture it offers puts a new dimension on the pieces.”
