Want to have some fun while learning new painting techniques? In this 2 hour class, you will learn to make beautiful wildflowers with acrylic paint. In the end, you will have an exquisite painting sprinkled with your preferred selection of wildflowers to take home. Instructor, Leah Thompson, will provide individualized guidance and encouragement as she instructs you through demonstrations and step-by-step directions.
No prior art experience necessary. Feel free to bring wildflowers for inspiration (optional)!
About the Instructor
Leah Thompson has been a professional artist and elementary school art teacher in Roanoke, VA for over 20 years. She specializes in creating colorful and expressive oil paintings. She is best known for her impressionistic paintings of ballerina dancers. Leah also offers numerous painting workshops and paint nights (for children and adults) throughout the Roanoke Valley.
